OBASA / Six Three Suites is a boutique provider of fully furnished and serviced luxury accommodations. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our Housekeeping Team in Saskatoon, SK who takes personal pride in delivering a service and product that “wows” the customer.


Candidates must be comfortable working independently or as a team, and with cleaning/disinfecting homes, including refreshing linens as well as office cleaning.

As a Housekeeper for OBASA / Six Three Suites, your responsibilities include, but are not solely defined as:

  • Cleaning furnished apartments, condos, and homes from top to bottom, including, but not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning glass, laundering linens, making beds, and scrubbing bathroom and kitchen surfaces
  • Retrieving and delivering packets of keys and other access devices to Company suites and property lockboxes for arriving guests
  • Spotting and reporting maintenance issues
  • Providing a 5-star, white glove first impression to every guest arriving at a Company suite
  • Providing outstanding customer service to all guests
  • Always representing the Company in a professional manner, including in your presentation and behavior
  • Maintaining an attitude of cooperation with fellow employees, and assist them in handling the clients’ and guests’ needs
  • Providing input and suggestions on how to provide our service in a better, faster, or easier way without undermining the client experience
  • Receptiveness to feedback from team members

This is a full-time position, but it can be flexible for the right person!


Required:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation

  • Housekeeping experience (considered an asset)

Obasa is seeking an HR Generalist to support Department Leaders with the orientation and onboarding of new hires and providing support to all the employees.


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Implement and administer employee policies and promote positive employee relations
  • Manage and monitor performance-related issues and implement changes that could increase productivity
  • Provide recruiting assistance and candidate screening and assessment
  • Select the most qualified candidates and maintain relationships with employment agencies
  • Work towards improving company policies and procedures
  • Handle termination-related matters and prepare termination and severance letters
  • Provide training and support to other team members of the human resources department

Maintenance Personnel

OBASA Suites is in search of an energetic and results driven Handyman / Maintenance person to join our maintenance team in Regina. The selected candidate will be a skilled and dependable Maintenance professional. If you have a passion for maintaining a welcoming and functional environment for our guests, this role is for you.

Key responsibilities of Maintenance include, but are not limited to:

As a Maintenance person in our hospitality establishment, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and upkeep of our facilities to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests. Your primary duties will include:

  • Generating billable hours to OBASA Suites. (This means working on suites for partners and buildings which OBASA can in turn bill back to the partners).
  • Manage assigned work orders by priority, as needed.
  • Schedule all work to be done daily considering occupancy levels and with the directive to cause minimum inconvenience to guests, tenants or staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security rules & regulations.
  • Perform any technical emergency repairs as required; inform the CEO if any other action is needed to be taken.
  • Maintain facilities in a safe efficient, and orderly fashion by directing all phases of maintenance, repair, and renovation activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and testing.
  • Prepare lists of spare parts and materials required for the continued correct functioning of all items of the building & equipment and ensure that adequate stock is maintained.
  • Organize and supervise the Engineering storeroom for efficient inventory control.
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship in the performance of all renovations, construction, and repairs.
  • Create and maintain long-term, profitable alliances with service providers for the maintenance and operation of the properties in Regina.
  • Ensuring OBASA’s Regina properties are well-maintained.
  • Ensuring all services to building tenants and owners are delivered to the highest standards of quality.
  • Fostering OBASA’s culture of professionalism and ensuring its values are upheld at all times.
  • Keeping OBASA a fun and rewarding place to work, including being always positive about OBASA and supportive of all approved initiatives while working to eliminate all negative influences at OBASA.
  • Keeping the Property Manager and Client Care Manager informed of all items of significance.

This is a part-time / On Call position, approximately 10-20 hours per week expected, and a schedule will be provided to you by the Executive Housekeeper or Operations Manager. From time to time, you may be expected to work more than 20 hours per week.

Requirements:

  • Must be a resident of Regina.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in trades.
  • Class 5 driver’s license with a reliable vehicle (milage paid for work related travel)
  • Must be reliable, ethical & responsible to handle emergency call requests.
  • Ability to multitask & schedule projects.
  • Background check required.
